秦朔 Shuo Qin

秦朔，第一财经传媒有限公司总经理，《第一财经日报》总编辑。

复旦大学新闻系学士，美国加州州立大学公共管理硕士，中山大学企业管理博士。

1990年到2004年在广州《南风窗》杂志工作，1997年起担任总编辑，领导《南

风窗》成为中国影响最大的政经杂志。2004年11月15日《第一财经日报》创刊后任总编辑。2009年底任第一财经传媒有限公司总经理。第一财经是中国品种最全、规模最大的财经媒体群，包括电视、广播、日报、周刊、研究院、论坛、网站等。

著有《大脑风暴》、《传播成功学》、《感动中国》、《美国秀》、《大变局》、《告别GDP

崇拜》等著作。论文《中美杂志比较研究》是国内杂志业引用最多的论文之一；作为国内最早提出“告别GDP崇拜”和“探求国民幸福总值”的代表之一，所著《GDP先生的讲述》一文被收入《宏观经济学》研究生教材（中国人民大学出版社）。

Mr. Shuo Qin is the general manager of China Business Network and chief editor of China Business News. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Fudan University, MPA in California State University (Northbridge) and PhD at Sun Yat-Sen University.

He began his journalism career with Nanfengchuang based in Guangzhou in 1990. He was named Chief Editor in 1997 and then led the magazine to become a leading provider of political and economic news. In 2004, he helped to start China Business News, where he has served as Chief Editor since then. He was named General manager of China Business Network in 2009. China Business Network(CBN), is the most influential and comprehensive finance-focused media group in China whose current scope of business includes: television, daily newspaper, radio, weekly magazine, research institute, forum, and website, etc.

His most influential pieces of his work include Brainstorm, How to Succeed in Communications, Touch China, American Show, Great Changes, Say No to GDP Worship, etc. His thesis, "the Comparative Study of Chinese and American Magazines" is one of the most quoted essays in the industry. He is one of the first in China who raise the issue of stopping GDP worship and seeking for total value of national welfare. His article "Narration of Mr. GDP" has attracted great attention and has been selected into Macroeconomics (Renmin University of China), a textbook for graduate students.
